Cache Rocket Terms of Service

Account Creation

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
• Keep your account information up-to-date.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Be solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account, including all crawling, cache-warming, and API-warming activity initiated from it.
• Notify Cache Rocket immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

Eligibility

• You are at least 18 years of age.
• You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
• If creating an account on behalf of an organization, you have the authority to bind the organization to these Terms.

Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the account settings or by contacting our support team.

Payments and Subscriptions

• You agree to pay all applicable fees as per your chosen subscription plan.
• Provide accurate billing information and authorize Cache Rocket to charge you for recurring payments.
• Plan limits (such as crawl frequency, number of warmers, or verified domains) govern the maximum traffic the Service will generate on your behalf; usage beyond your plan may be throttled or require an upgrade.

Cache Rocket reserves the right to change pricing or introduce new charges for the Service at any time, with notice provided before changes take effect on your next billing cycle.

Subscription fees are non-refundable, except at Cache Rocket's discretion under specific circumstances.

Domain Verification

• Adding a specified TXT record to your domain’s DNS.
• Uploading a verification file to your domain’s root directory.
• Emailing from a domain-related email address to authenticate ownership.

Use of Service

• You will use the Service only for lawful purposes and only against Verified Domains.
• You will not use the Service to infringe upon the rights of others, including intellectual property rights.
• You will not attempt to access, tamper with, or disrupt any part of the Service’s infrastructure.
• You will not attempt to bypass, spoof, or circumvent the Hostname Validator, rate limiting, or domain verification process.
• You are solely responsible for ensuring your hosting, CDN, and origin infrastructure can safely absorb the crawl frequency, concurrency, and API-warmer volume you configure.

Prohibited Conduct

• Use the Service to cache, crawl, or warm any hostname that you do not own or have express permission to manage.
• Engage in any fraudulent or deceptive activities while using the Service, including falsifying domain ownership during verification.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or create an undue burden on the Service’s servers or networks.
• Use crawling, Cache Warmers, API Warmers, or any other feature of the Service, alone or in combination with other tools, to intentionally flood, overwhelm, or degrade the availability of any website, API, server, or network — whether or not it is a Verified Domain and whether or not you own it.
• Configure crawl frequency, concurrency, or warmer volume for the purpose or effect of conducting a denial-of-service (DoS) or distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack against your own infrastructure or any third party's infrastructure.
• Attempt to bypass, disable, or evade the Hostname Validator or rate limiter, or use multiple accounts, domains, or configurations to circumvent per-hostname traffic limits.
• Use the Service to test, probe, or stress third-party infrastructure without that party's explicit, verifiable authorization.

Rate Limiting and Traffic Safeguards

Cache Rocket applies automated, best-effort technical safeguards to every crawl, Cache Warmer, and API Warmer job:

• Hostname Validator: every outbound request target is normalized and checked before it is sent, rejecting disallowed hosts (such as localhost, loopback, and private-network addresses) and hostnames that do not match a Verified Domain on your account.
• Per-hostname rate limiting: outbound crawl and warmer traffic to each hostname is paced using a token-bucket limiter, so a single account or job cannot generate unbounded request volume against one target.
• Plan-based ceilings: your subscription plan sets upper bounds on crawl frequency, concurrency, and the number of active warmers, further limiting the traffic the Service can generate.

These measures are designed to reduce the risk of the Service being used, intentionally or unintentionally, to overwhelm a website or API. They are technical safeguards, not a guarantee. They do not eliminate the risk that your own configuration, third-party abuse of a verified hostname, or infrastructure outside Cache Rocket's control results in elevated traffic, degraded performance, or service interruption.

Denial-of-Service Waiver and Traffic Liability

• Crawling, Cache Warmers, and API Warmers generate automated, repeated HTTP requests against your Verified Domains on a schedule and at a concurrency that you configure. You are solely responsible for ensuring your hosting plan, CDN, origin servers, WAF, and any third-party infrastructure can handle that request volume.
• You are responsible for monitoring your own infrastructure and for promptly reducing crawl frequency, warmer concurrency, or the number of active jobs if you observe degraded performance, rate-limit responses, elevated hosting or bandwidth costs, or alerts from your host, CDN, or bot-mitigation provider that are related to Cache Rocket traffic.
• Cache Rocket is a caching and performance tool, not a guarantor of your website's, API's, or infrastructure's availability, and does not control how your hosting provider, CDN, or security tooling responds to legitimate warming traffic.

• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cache Rocket disclaims all liability for, and you release Cache Rocket from, any claim, damage, cost, or loss arising out of or related to denial-of-service (DoS) or distributed-denial-of-service (DDoS)-like effects, service degradation, downtime, or increased hosting or bandwidth charges, however caused, including where caused by: (a) your own crawl, Cache Warmer, or API Warmer configuration; (b) a third party who exploits, spoofs, or otherwise bypasses domain ownership or hostname verification; (c) the actions of any other Cache Rocket user or account; or (d) any attack, misuse, or abuse of the Service by any party, including you, directed at your infrastructure or a third party's infrastructure.
• Cache Rocket does not assume responsibility for the acts of its Users. You, and not Cache Rocket, bear responsibility for verifying that any hostname added to your account is one you are authorized to direct automated traffic toward, and for any consequences of a hostname being verified or crawled in violation of these Terms.
• Nothing in this section limits Cache Rocket's right to immediately suspend or terminate an account, hostname, or job under the Termination section below where Cache Rocket reasonably believes Service traffic is being used to conduct or facilitate a denial-of-service attack.

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Service, including its software, crawler engine, dashboard, trademarks, logos, and content, are owned by Cache Rocket or its licensors. No rights are granted to you other than the limited right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

Data Collection and Privacy

Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in connection with the Service.

Service Availability

Cache Rocket strives to provide reliable access to the Service, including the crawler engine, dashboard, and real-time status updates, but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability at all times, and the Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, upgrades, or reasons outside our reasonable control.

Limitation of Liability

• Cache Rocket shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation lost profits, lost data, or the cost of substitute services.
• Without limiting the foregoing, Cache Rocket shall not be liable for any damages, costs, or losses arising from denial-of-service or distributed-denial-of-service-like effects, service interruptions, or third-party hosting or bandwidth overage charges, as further described in the Denial-of-Service Waiver and Traffic Liability section above.
• Cache Rocket’s total liability for any claim arising out of the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the previous 12 months.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cache Rocket, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your verification of, or authorization of crawling against, a hostname you did not have the right to verify; (c) any denial-of-service or traffic-related impact caused by your configuration or misuse of crawling, Cache Warmers, or API Warmers; or (d) your violation of these Terms.

Termination

• Cache Rocket reserves the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause.
• Cache Rocket may immediately suspend or terminate any hostname, job, or account, without prior notice, where it reasonably suspects that traffic from the Service is being used to conduct, facilitate, or contribute to a denial-of-service or distributed-denial-of-service attack, or otherwise circumvents the Hostname Validator or rate limiter.
• Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms will cease immediately, and all active crawling, Cache Warmer, and API Warmer jobs on your account will be stopped.

Modifications to the Terms

Cache Rocket may modify these Terms at any time and will notify users of any significant changes.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, including disputes regarding their existence, validity, or termination, shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, except where mandatory consumer-protection law grants you the right to bring a claim in your own jurisdiction.
